Who ever had the possibility to pass through our region
for sure still has in mind the intensive green of the Umbrian hills,
the nature that is fortunately still intact and wild. And in a small
medieval village named Grutti, near Assisi, Perugia and Todi the
tradition of olive oil is renewed every year by the Neri family,
according to the most antique processes, fruit of antique precepts
that have been passed down from generation to generation.
This way an extra virgin oil comes into being, green,
strong and fruity, like the hills that characterize most of the
Umbrian landscape, green as the nature, of which this oil is the
genuine and precious expression.
In an age where man tries to substitute the nature,
our commitment remains to offer you an oil of absolute quality,
made in a natural process, that starts with picking the still green
olives by hand until the pressing, all without adding chemical products.
And so we pride ourselves on presenting you the "OLIO
EXTRA VERGINE DI OLIVA UMBRO" - Umbrian extra virgin
olive oil.
Here in the area of the Martani Mountains, in the
zones that reach from Todi to Spoleto, from Giano dell’Umbria
to Gualdo Cattaneo, from Montefalco to Bevagna and Deruta, due to
the particular ground, the right altitude, the optimal climate,
the olive tree finds its ideal habitat, and this way is able to
produce an extra virgin oil with prime qualitative characteristics.
